100 days of Homesteading Happiness: Day 1

100 Days of Happy is sweeping Facebook.  I think it's a wonderful way to remind us to look at the GOOD things that happen each day, and to stop focusing on the negative.

Therefore, I give you 100 Days of Homesteading Happiness, in an effort to overlook the mosquitoes, weeds, and poison ivy and focus on those things that make country living worthwhile. (And it may actually get me in the habit of posting daily!)

Day one: A gorgeous tree frog sitting on an iris leaf. He was singing until the camera came out.

Im only mucking around, but happiness would be if that frog turned into Prince Charming or a Genie and granted all you wishes. LOL I get the point you are making and its a good one. Happiness is your husband getting a job at 54 when he has been on workcover from work injury after winning unfair dismissal. Prospects were not good as over 1000 electricians put off work in our city in last six months but still he managed to convince them that its not his brawn but his brains and 35+ yrs experience they need. Woo Hoo. SO SO HAPPY!
