On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

Three feet of visibility in a ridiculously peanut-butter-thick-pea-soup fog.

It's an amazing 54 degrees outside, and our high today is supposed to hit 63.  Of course we'll drop back into the 20s by the end of the week, but it's still super weird to go outside in December and not freeze my tush off.

The fog makes our woods look super spooky.  I like it.  I could go out and just happily wander around in it, unless it's one of those weird flesh eating fogs. Or the kind that turns you inside out.  Or the kind that brings in creatures from another dimension - a la Stephen King.  Then again, that could be kind of cool.  We could feast on roast beast and have the most bizarre trophy collection....

Not sure about the 12 Days meaning, but I believe that there are 12 days between the time the kings came to see baby Jesus and his birth.

I just like to think of it as a misguided lover bestowing wacky gifts to his love.
