When City People Move to the Country

ETA: If you are looking for real info about why we live in the country, see this post.

This was emailed to me today. I got a huge kick out of it, mostly because I know people that would do this. lol

ETA: For those of you visiting this blog from outside the lower 48, this animal is actually a 'possum.

That is hysterical ... and I am technically a city person. Whenever someone comes around looking for their cat up at the rural place, someone inevitably says "coyotes probably got it by now."

City Mouse, you are right about the coyotes...we've lost many a cat to a howling pack. Probably just as well since we live in an area where people love to dump off their pregnant cats; we had 17 at one point!

Jayedee..I just snorted coffee from laughing so hard! Too funny!!

It's a "pointy kitty" *ala Ralph Wiggum from The Simpsons*

I actually saw one at night by the stairs of my apt. when I was living in the suburbs of Chicagoland, and said, "Here kitty, kitty" and the sound that came out of it made me jump back and say OHHHH, it's a possum...scary, man.
