Silliness and smiles. I know it doesn't have anything to do with homesteading, but face it, we all have lives outside of our gardens and chicken coops.
These were taken during a visit to the National Aviary in Pittsburgh. Little Sis celebrated her 17th birthday (WHAT?? When did she grow up???) and this was one of the places she wanted to visit.
We had a great time. Little Sis was splashed by penguins, she and her best bud hand fed gross mealworms to birds, and we saw some cool stuff.
Eol and I are goofing in these pics. Little Sis wanted us to touch the owl, and of course there was some goofing around and poking at each other.
