I've added something new. If you look to the left...no, your other left....you'll see a new list of links titled "How To". I'm hoping this helps people find a few posts that are actually instructional and not just my ranting or rambling about whatever is happening at the time. I'll add links as I come across old posts that may be helpful.
Got something you want to know how to do? Ask me! If I know how, I'll post about it and link it. Assuming, that is, that I've actually done it. There's nothing I hate more than an armchair homesteader, ready to tell you how to go about doing things that they, themselves, have never attempted, because they might miss the Honey Boo Boo show.
I'd do more "how to" posts if I could think of something to post about. I do most of this stuff every day and it's become so routine that I'm surprised when people mention they don't know how. Don't be shy about asking, though. There was a time that I didn't know how much wood was in a cord, or that hens will lay eggs without a rooster, or that slogging through the foot of half-frozen half-slush snow is the biggest workout I'll ever get.

That "How To" section is a great idea!
Not that I don't enjoy your occasional rant / ramblings.
