The Elusive Garden Post...with pics!!

Pest Control Leader, on break.

Flowers and herbs

More flowers and herbs

Pest Control Team 2, hard at work.

The lower garden. That's not water, it's black plastic. In all that green, there are several types of melons, tomatoes, beans, and the hayfield in the background.

Squash, tomatoes, oregano, asparagus, cabbage hidden in the back.

Tomatoes, squash on the right, peppers toward the back, then corn. Potatoes hidden behind corn.

Squash, corn, tomatillos, peppers, herbs.

The pics don't cover the entire garden, so there are a lot of things you don't see. Here's just an idea of what I have planted:
Beans: 4 varieties.
Peppers: 16 varieties. Over 300 plants.
Tomatillos: 2 varieties.
Cabbage: 3 varieties.
Corn: Eöl did almost all of the corn planting. There are three types.
Onions: Little Sis took care of the majority of those. 3 types.
Cukes: Funny story...a mouse ate most of the seed! I have about four plants coming up. Hopefully enough to make some pickles. I'm not sure what varieties survived the rodent attack.
Squash: 15 varieties, including winter and summer types.
Melons: 7 varieties.
Tomatoes: 27 varieties. Over 240 plants at last count, but I still have a few to put in the ground that didn't get sold.
There are other yummy things growing out there, but I can't think of them right now.
