I'm currently suffering Seed Frustration. Here I was, with this huge list of tomato seeds; two pages!! I was kind of excited, although my first choice for seed purchase didn't pan out. I thought this may work out better, anyway, more variety even though I'd have fewer of each. But noooooo. I did a little research (thank goodness) before placing my order, and found out that this company has a bad rep for not shipping seed on time. Like I need it six weeks from now?? If I'm going to start tomatoes and peppers and get them to a marketable size, I need to start them soon. But maybe I could get some decent starts, even if it takes a few weeks, right? Nooooooo (again). This company also has a rep for poor germination. Thanks, but I'll pass.
It looks like I'm back to Johnny's. They have amazing seed. It's a little more expensive than the place I was going to order from to start with, and not as big of a selection of heirlooms and OP varieties as my second choice. But good seed is good seed. I know they ship in a timely manner, and the seed is reliable.
I'll probably order a couple of seed packets from one or two new places, just to get some variety. I always go overboard on my seed orders anyway.
**sigh** Is it so wrong that I still want the 45 varieties I had listed?

Which company were you going to order from that you decided against? You can email me the answer if you like. I'd just soon avoid those in bad business. So far I have had good luck using Gurneys.
In about a week or so I should have some little green plants poking their heads up thru the soil.
