Oh how I hate that word. Never tell me I can't do something, unless you want to see it done.
I am shocked at the number of people that have told me I can' t possibly put up all the stuff I am growing in my garden. Where do people get this attitude? Why do they think I can't do it?

Whoever is telling you, you can't -- "they" probably don't even have a garden, so consider the source.
